ELLIE KEMPER x VANITY FAIR 🎣

Before the strikes this summer, Vanity Fair, in partnership with TakeMeFishing.org asked me to create two looks for Ellie Kemper.

THE BRIEF : FISHING, BUT MAKE IT FASHION

The puns flowed as I waded into fishing apparel which sadly lacks many great options for women.

Fixated on a 1920's image of Dorothy Sebastian trout fishing, I created a look that embodied old Hollywood with the swagger of 1990’s Liam Gallagher. 

For her first, arrival look, I matched Ellie’s sparkling personality with this luminous athleisure moment.

Watch as she steps out into nature and goes fishing for the first time. Spoiler alert, she rocks it.
